Equipment Needed6-inch Springform Pan, Foil, Air Fryer

Ingredients

The Oreo Crust:

  • 12 whole Oreo cookies
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted

The Cheesecake Filling:

  • 16 oz (450g) full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • ¼ cup (60g) sour cream, room temperature
  • 6 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped

The Topping:

  • 4 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • Whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pan & Crust

  1. Lightly grease a 6-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Pulse 12 whole Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  3. Stir in melted butter until the crumbs resemble wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form an even layer.
  4. Place the pan in the freezer for 10 minutes to set while mixing the filling.

2. Mix the Filling

  1. In a medium bowl, beat room-temperature cream cheese and granulated sugar together on low speed until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes). Avoid whipping at high speed to keep air pockets minimal.
  2. Beat in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed just until blended.
  4. Gently fold in the 6 coarsely chopped Oreos with a spatula.

3. Air Fry to Perfection

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 310°F (155°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour the filling over the chilled crust and smooth the top.
  3. Cover the top loosely with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning from the air fryer’s top heating element.
  4. Carefully place the pan into the air fryer basket. Air fry at 310°F (155°C) for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil for the last 3–5 minutes if the center still looks too wet, looking for a slight wobble in the middle while the edges are set.

4. Cooling & Final Setting

  1. Turn off the air fryer and leave the drawer cracked open for 10 minutes to cool gradually.
  2. Transfer the pan to a wire rack at room temperature for 1 hour.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight preferred) to set fully.
  4. Garnish with additional crushed Oreos and whipped cream before slicing.
